Capital Grille’s Colorful Fall Menu

Veal and Prosciutto Polpette + Tricolor Cauliflower

Fall is my favorite time of year. The weather cools off and it is quite pleasant outside. Another reason I love fall are the flavors. Give me pumpkin anything and I’m happy. Another fall flavor I love is Butternut Squash. I was pleased to try the new fall menu at The Capital Grille recently, featuring a Butternut Squash Bisque. The bisque was slightly creamy and had crispy shiitake mushrooms for a little crunch.

Also new for fall is a side of Tricolor Cauliflower the Veal and Prosciutto Polpette. I thought cauliflower came in only one color but the green, yellow and purple cauliflower was beautiful. While it tastes good, if your lunch companion chooses those parmesan fries, forgettaboutit. I couldn’t resist those delicious, crispy fries. The cauliflower didn’t stand a chance.

Polpettes are actually meatballs. Bursting with flavor, they are served with some ricotta and creamy polenta. It is tasty, but if you are sampling the plates menu, you’ll have a hard time choosing as every one of the menu items is tempting: Mini Beef Tenderloins, Lobster Roll, or Scallops. The lunch plates menu consists of: soup or salad + entree and side for $16.

Now you have two Capital Grille locations to choose from: Dunwoody or Buckhead.
