Blo Blow Out Bar: glam girls night out

Blow outs are a common practice for many ladies nowadays, but for me they are still a special treat. So, when one of my pals invited me to the Fox Theatre for a show (it goes without saying you are going to have dinner beforehand, right?), we decided to make a girls day / night out of the experience and go all out with blow outs for a full on glam look.

Since we having dinner in Buckhead, we headed to Blo for blow outs which was right in the neighborhood. Since it is was a Thursday afternoon, we were able to walk right in with not waiting for a blow out at Blo Buckhead, but I’d recommend making an appointment on a Friday or weekends. I bet they get quite busy.

The Blo blow out service is certainly terrific to pamper yourself, but I have to tell you it is even more fun with a friend.

I took my stepdaughter for a blow out a couple years ago and we had a blast and this time was no different, getting to chit chat with my pal while we got dolled up for a night on the town! How fun!

Blow out choices at Blo

I always go with curls, since my hair is straight, and this visit to Blo blow out bar was no exception. However, it was a bit difficult to decide if I wanted the Hollywood posh look of “Holly Would” or if I should get the “Pillow Talk” with tousled look. My problem is when I get a blow out my hair is so fine it tends to fall quite fast. So, my stylist promised me she would give me something in between the two.

The Blo Buckhead location is at the Shops Around Lenox at 3400 Around Lenox Drive, Suite 213. Blo Buckhead will be open Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open as early as 7am and as late as 9pm by appointment.
