Hal’s Kitchen: New Location in Brookhaven

You may remember I wrote about Hal’s Kitchen when they opened in Sandy Springs. I instantly liked the folks there. Cyndi Sterne and her staff did a fantastic job of making cooking fun. I’m glad that Hal’s has found a new home in Brookhaven.

I visited their open house a couple weeks ago and sampled some of the cuisines from the various chefs that will have cooking classes at Hal’s in the coming months. My favorite was Cooking Instructor, Sucheta Rawal. She had Chai Tea (I’m always up for a good Chai) and Pakoras (an Indian appetizer stuffed with vegetables).

Owner, Cyndi Sterne was demonstrating Profiteroles with pastry cream. I promptly got the filling all over my hands as I tried, unsuccessfully, to use the pastry tube filler. No wonder I don’t bake. Guess I could use a class or two. For more information about Hal’s Kitchen and upcoming classes, visit the website.
