maple street biscuit review

Maple Street Biscuits comes to Atlanta

A couple years ago, I visited Jacksonville for a couple days. We had a lovely stay at the Casa Marina resort and enjoyed a visit to the quirky St. Augustine.

We discovered this amazing coffee roaster and breakfast spot while driving around in Jacksonville – Maple Street Biscuits. Their coffee has just a dash of maple in it. It is the perfect amount. We bought a bag of beans home and I’m not kidding when I say that I had coffee withdrawal after we polished off our bag of Maple Street coffee.

I happened to be on the Alpharetta visitors site and noticed that Maple Street Biscuits would be “opening soon” and I wish you could know how elated this made me! I went to the Maple Street Biscuits site and to my surprise, they were already open in Duluth and in Woodstock.

Besides making incredible biscuits from scratch, they also offer coffee with a hint of maple, hence the name. Two of us split the Five: A biscuit with fried chicken, pecan bacon, cheddar cheese and slathered with sausage gravy. Oh so good and you can buy coffee by the pound.

Unfortunately for us coffee addicts and brunch lovers, Maple Street Biscuits is closed on Sundays. See the menu and find all the locations of Maple Street Biscuits here.
