From now through August 1, Atlantans can get their gourmet burger fix at all Marlow’s Tavern locations with their limited edition Burger and Brew Menu. During this time, locations of Marlow’s will feature special burgers and various dishes that pair well with seasonal beers.
Pictured above is the Rib burger. Served on a sweet onion bun, the beef patty is topped with prime rib and swiss. It is a bit pricey at $16.50 burger, but it is quite tasty and would pair well with the summer beer selections like the Oscar Blues Throwback IPA. The berry uses 8 varieties of hops and has notes of citrus with a bit of spice.
The burger of the day, a bison burger topped with onion strings, chipotle bbq sauce and cheddar was my choice. However, I asked the bbq sauce on the side. It was tasty, I’ve just never been a fan of barbecue sauce on burgers. Instead I put a little mayo on the bun and it was perfect.
