RA Sushi supports St. Jude

Ra Sushi has added menu items that benefit St. Jude

How many times have you heard, #cancersucks? It’s even that much sadder when cancer takes the life of a child. Each year in the U.S. there are an estimated 15,780 children between the ages of birth and 19 years who are diagnosed with cancer. St. Jude is dedicated to helping to find a cure for childhood cancer.

To help reduce that statistic, RA Sushi has introduced a new year-long effort to help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital fight childhood cancer. When select St. Jude menu items are purchased, RA Sushi will donate $2 to St. Jude’s lifesaving work. Here are the three menu items you can order that will benefit St. Jude’s.

– Shrimp Roll, “RA”ckin’
– Shrimp Tacos
– Coconut Crème Brulee

I tried the first two on a recent visit to RA Sushi. The Shrimp roll was bland and unappealing and you can find better sushi at Ru San’s. But the shrimp tacos were better. The crunchy texture of the taco shell with sweet and spicy shrimp pairs well.
