Whether that’s making reservations, making sure the restaurant knows about your allergies, figuring out driving or where to park, those can sometimes turn into huge time sucks. Bloveit date night planning handles all of these.  Plus, you know how when you make reservations on Open Table they do that annoying thing where they call you and want to you confirm your reservation? You don’t get that Bloveit. Just a simple text reminder.

Based on my answers, we picked Kimball House in Decatur. Since it was a holiday weekend, I figured traffic would be light and it would be easy to get to. We were told there was valet but we managed to score street parking just steps away. Date night was off to a good start.

bloveit date night concierge review

Upon entering our date night restaurant, they knew about our reservation and had our table ready. I would have like one in the corner more, but it was okay. Waiting at our table was a single red rose with an envelope. The Bloveit date night concierge had given us a little game to play. Nice touch! Describe a person, place, thing, event to your date but you must leave out a few key words. We finished the game before our cocktails arrived. To be fair, Kimball House took a really long time to get our cocktails to us. Not sure if that is part of the date experience or what but the entire evening did drag on.

Next up, were the oysters we had chosen for our date night in Atlanta. I mean, if oysters are on the menu and it is a date night you gotta go with them, right? We mopped those up quickly and were brought our next app, Sweetbreads – holy God were these ever good!

It was quite a long time after that to get our entrees. Maybe that is the plan with Bloveit? Then again, for dessert at Kimball House we sat for a while without cream for our coffee and had to flag two separate people down. I’m not sure why everyone gushes about this restaurant. Though the service wasn’t up to what I’d expect from this restaurant we still had a fun date night. It was wonderful to have the details planned out. No need to explain what kind of cocktails you like (they select based on your preference) or if you have food allergies. I’d definitely have Bloveit plan another date night for me.
