Your summer holiday is right around the corner! The sun, the sea, sangria, it’s all within touching distance. As excited as you may be about being able to lounge around the pool all day, remember, you still have to put some things into place before you jet off. One of the most important jobs that you face is having to sort out your vacation wardrobe. Forget this all-important task at your peril — without the perfect wardrobe, your whole holiday could be ruined.
When it comes to finding the best items of clothing to take away with you, it’s imperative that you only pack bikinis that accentuates your tan. Why not seek to look your absolute best while you’re away on your holiday? To find out which bikinis will suit your skin tone and make you look more tanned, make sure to read on.
If you have a pale skin tone
If you have a pale or fair skin tone, you’re going to find it difficult to make yourself look tanned (until the sun ends up catching you, of course). Using a bikini to accentuate your tan isn’t completely out of the question, though. You might have to be a bit more choosey with the colors that you opt for, but it’s not impossible to unearth a shade that matches your tone perfectly.
In this instance, you’re going to want to opt for pastel bikinis — baby blue and light pink always work wonders in this instance. Quite simply, the softer the color, the better chance you will have of looking tanned. Whatever you do, don’t wear very bright or very dark colors. The contrast that these types of colors will have with your skin will only make you look paler.
If you have slightly tanned skin
Are you jetting off on your holiday already slightly tanned? Perhaps you’ve been hitting the sunbeds, or maybe you’ve already been on holiday once this summer? If so, then you need to choose a bikini that emphasizes your color. To make yourself look more tanned as you seek to top up on your existing one, you should opt to wear bikinis in the following colors:
- Scarlet
- Fuchsia pink
- Coral green
- Beige
- Dark brown

Should you have dark or already tanned skin, then you can breathe a sigh of relief because pretty much every bikini color will suit you. To make yourself look even more tanned than you already are, you should choose a white bikini. Again, it’s all about contrast — the lighter your bikini, the more tanned your already dark skin complexion will look.
Don’t leave it until the day you’re due to jet off — get your vacation wardrobe sorted now. When you do, just be sure to take the above advice and pack bikinis that are only going to make you look more tanned. If you do, you’ll be sure to look amazing regardless of the tone of your skin!
The first time I had dinner at Mosaic Restaurant, I thought I had discovered a cool intimate boutique restaurant with an amazing outdoor patio. Strangely, there were very few dinner guest seated. I shrugged it off as an “OFF NIGHT”. But oddly, how can every visit be an “OFF NIGHT”??? Being in the service industry for 30 years, I thought the service at the time was adequate but the Kobe Beef Sliders were amazing! Last evening, I had a business meeting with some clients and thought we were guaranteed to find some quiet space in a prime Buckhead location. Yes, again an “OFF NIGHT”! To my surprise, from beginning to end, it turned out to be the most dreadful dining experience I’ve EVER endured in my many years of dining out. I dine out frequently and consider myself a concierge of restaurant knowledge, keeping up with all the latest and greatest, but still loyal to the smaller venue’s. The only thing CONSISTANT about the service was the perpetual rudeness that seemed to spill over into the lack of placement for both food AND drink to each dining patron. NOT ONCE OR TWICE, EVERY TIME! We literally sat in the dark until we asked the waiter to light a table candle. I tried very hard to ignore not only the lack of service but his deliberate discourteous display of behavior. While trying not to set the tone for the evening, we were continuously stunned with each interaction. While eating, you heard the irritable, sarcastic whining of his disgruntlement, “Another…Coupon” With that said, we ate there because I, too, had a $25 off coupon. Afterward, I fully regret suggesting the place. Jody Dean (owner) wake up! Put the pad lock on the door and give the place back to the bank. You’ve obviously used very poor judgement in your management skills. I’d like to see your restaurant succeed but as is… “IT SUCKS BIG TIME”! I will not ever eat there again. Foodies and potential customers “BEWARE” when the place looks empty. It IS for a reason!!! Don’t set yourself up for disappointment as I have done.
Hi Bob – Sorry about your experience at Mosaic. That’s too bad.
Have you ever been to Portofino? They have a lovely patio. See my review here: https://roamilicious.com/2010/07/portofino-buckhead-atlanta-ga-restaurant-review/
