Located in Buckhead, Watershed has a terrific patio overlooking Peachtree Road. Nearby office workers could stop in for an upscale lunch or for a full dinner after a long day at work.
Upon entering, you’ll see the expansive bar front and center. This gorgeous wood bar was constructed from a single oak tree.
There are a wonderful selection of wines, both by the glass and bottle at Watershed, but don’t overlook a classic cocktail, like the Negroni (pictured above right). At both lunch and dinner you can choose from hearty appetizers. Appetizers are generous enough that you could make a meal out of them for lunch if you desire.
This beautiful piece of Gulf Redfish (below) is available on both the lunch and dinner menu at Watershed. It is served with maque choux, uni butter, and lots of dungeness crab on top of it. How’s that for upscale southern food? The other thing that’s wonderful about Watershed, is the noise level. I’m so tired of the many Atlanta restaurants that have such high noise volumes between music and conversation that you can’t hear your dining companions. That’s not the case at Watershed. The 80s and 90s songs we all know are kept at low levels and you can easily carry on a conversation with your dinner date.
Desserts are supreme at Watershed in Atlanta too! I mean just look at this mint chocolate chip tart! It is made with pistachio, black cardamom and a rice crust. I had a decaf coffee (they serve Batdorf and Bronson) and it was some of the best decaf I’ve ever had.
