McDonald’s is getting into the holiday spirit early. Alongside the return of the McRib, the chain is rolling out five new winter drinks, including cranberry-flavored crafted sodas and a trio of cookie butter coffees. The lineup arrives at participating restaurants nationwide on November 3 for a limited time. Here is what is on the new menu and what early tasters thought.
Five new winter drinks

The holiday lineup features two cranberry drinks and three cookie butter coffees. They join the returning McRib, giving fans a fresh set of seasonal options. The new drinks will be available at participating McDonald’s locations across the country starting November 3.
Frosted Cranberry Splash with Sprite

Following the success of the cold foam-topped Sprite Berry Blast, McDonald’s is adding the Frosted Cranberry Splash with Sprite. It combines Sprite with orange and cranberry flavors and is finished with cold foam and cranberry sprinkles.
Red Bull Frosted Cranberry Energizer

Fans of the Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer get a festive version, too. The new Red Bull Frosted Cranberry Energizer uses the same orange and cranberry Frosted Cranberry flavors and is topped with cold foam and cranberry sprinkles.
Cookie butter takes over McCafé

The McCafé menu is swapping its Caramel Apple Pie lineup for three cookie butter drinks: a Cookie Butter Frappé, Cookie Butter Latte and Cookie Butter Iced Coffee. Each has a rich, caramel-like spiced cookie butter flavor and is topped with vanilla whipped cream and cookie crumbs.
A surprise from the Energizer

The Red Bull Frosted Cranberry Energizer was less sweet than the reviewer expected. The cranberry flavor helped balance Red Bull’s usual sweetness, and fans of the Dragonberry Energizer may find it becomes their go-to holiday order.
The cookie butter coffees shine

The cookie butter drinks were the standout of the menu. The reviewer called the latte, with its warm spice and caramel notes, the best coffee drink they had tried at McDonald’s. The Frappé was compared to a cookie butter coffee milkshake.
Available for a limited time

The new drinks arrive November 3 and will only be on menus for a limited time. With early holiday launches popping up across restaurant chains, McDonald’s fans may want to try the seasonal lineup before it disappears.
