Oreo is debuting a slew of new cookies this fall – and cookie lovers have a whole lot to look forward to. From gluten-free and zero-sugar cookies to a salted caramel shortbread Oreo (which some versions of are vegan-friendly), there’s something for everyone. A wave of new flavors
Oreo’s latest lineup includes Salted Caramel Shortbread, Lemon Gluten-Free, Dark Chocolate Zero Sugar, Gingerbread Cakesters and limited-edition Espresso Creme Oreo Thins. Several of the new cookies are already appearing in stores, while the espresso flavor is only available through a special online sign-up.
Salted Caramel Shortbread
Some of the new cookies are hitting shelves now, including Oreo’s Salted Caramel Shortbread. The new flavor features Oreo’s vanilla Golden wafers with a salted caramel shortbread-flavored creme, as well as crunchy sugar crystals for added texture and sweetness. Fans can find the new Oreo at Walmart now.
Gluten-free and zero-sugar
Oreo is also expanding options for shoppers with dietary needs. Its bright Lemon cookies now come in a gluten-free version, and a new Dark Chocolate Zero Sugar cookie offers a richer chocolate taste without added sugar. Both have been spotted at Walmart.
Gingerbread Cakesters
Just in time for the holidays, Oreo has also released Gingerbread Cakesters, its soft, cake-like snack with a festive gingerbread twist. The seasonal treat has been spotted at CVS stores.
Espresso Creme Thins
The rarest new release is Espresso Creme Oreo Thins, which pair thin chocolate cookies with a smooth espresso-flavored creme. Oreo is making just one batch of 1,000 packs. The brand is positioning the cookie as an evening treat to enjoy when unwinding after a busy day.
How to get a pack
Fans can sign up on the Oreo website from October 20 to November 3 for a chance at the espresso cookies. On November 4, those who signed up will receive a redemption code. The first 1,000 people to redeem it can get a pack by paying $2.99 for shipping.
