Build Your Own Pizza at Pizza Crosta for One Price

Pizza Crosta is a new spot located in the Prado in Sandy Springs. The fast casual concept has come to Mexican food and sandwiches but not pizza. Until now. Much like a Chipotle or Subway, you start at one end of the counter, choose your crust and then toppings. Your pizza is baked and delivered to your table.

Pizza Crosta has wine and a couple craft beers available for $5. Pizzas are $7.99 with your choice of toppings. That’s right, one price for all your pizza toppings. And you aren’t just limited to pepperoni, banana peppers and the usual cheap toppings. They have roasted chicken, gyro meat, eggplant, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes and more!

Pesto Pizza with Gyro meat

The pizzas at Pizza Crosta are all the same size – 10″ and have 6 slices per pie. I love that the crust is think but it could be a little more flavorful. It’s easily a meal for two, especially if you split a salad (their strawberry salad is lovely) or their meaty and saucy wings. We tried two: their Pesto pizza with a swap to Gyro instead of roasted chicken and built our own with a sausage, olives, mushrooms, and zucchini on another. Although I love lamb and enjoyed the Pesto pizza, I think I created a winner with my sausage / veggie pizza.

Wings are delicious!

We also began our Pizza Crosta meal with the Medium Buffalo wings, which were tastier than the pizza. You can order them in 6 or 12 piece quantities. And don’t let your crust go to waste! Pizza Crosta has a sauce bar with choices like olive oil, balsamic, ranch, etc.

Love the idea of one price with unlimited toppings. It makes it affordable to get two pies if you want to try some different toppings.  How come it took so long for someone to come up with this concept? Pizza Crosta is a great place for a filling lunch or someplace to take the kiddies for an inexpensive meal. While it isn’t date night appropriate, it is a good option to have if you are craving a quick, yet affordable pizza.

Disclosure: Our meal was complimentary but the opinions are my own.
