Holidays are such a busy time for me and getting around Atlanta traffic seems to suck up so much of it. And as a planner, with more family thrown in the mix, my best laid plans often go out the window. That’s why I’m so glad that Chick-fil-A has easy catering. Here’s the deal: as I said, I’m very much a planner and like to plan for everything months in advance, life happens. My father-in-law was visiting during the holidays and invited me and my husband up to visit his sister and her family’s mountain cabin. And I’m not one to just show up empty handed. While I can whip up a decent meal, enough food to feed 12 is somewhat challenging. So, what’s a girl to do? Order Chick-fil-A catering!
Ordering Chick-fil-A catering is easy with just a couple clicks
Ordering was simple and easy! I just went to the Chick-fil-A website to order but you can do it from your phone as well if you download the Chick-fil-A mobile app. I didn’t have to join or create an account on the website. Though you’ll want to because you can get points to redeem at a later date. A couple clicks and I was checked out. Easy peasy. But silly me, with miscommunication I had to change my order (date / pickup time) 3 times and each time Josh at my local Chick-fil-A answered the phone and was so sweet to help me, always ending our call with “My pleasure.” Upon pickup, a Chick-fil-A manager even carried out all the neatly packed items to my trunk.
Protip: there are items available for catering that are not available on the regular Chick-fil-A dine-in menu, like the Chilled Grilled Chicken Sub Sandwiches. A surprise hit for the luncheon was the Superfood Side. The Superfood Side, made with a Broccolini & kale blend, dried sour cherries and roasted nuts, is topped with a maple vinaigrette dressing. Doesn’t that sound delicious? Nearly everyone complimented me for picking out such a great dish!

I may be a huge foodie, but I recognize that when feeding a large group you gotta pick items that everyone is going to like. So, with the hand breaded Chick-n-Strips and grilled chicken sandwiches as well as a salad and fruit, I had my bases covered. I was definitely the hero of my family gathering that day.
