If you read this blog regularly, you know that The Capital Grille has a prix fixe lunch menu that changes with the seasons. The Capital Grille has been kind enough to extend invitations for me to sample the menu several times now.
At lunch, I’d rather avoid any alcohol, so opted to try some of their house-made non-alcoholic drinks. I’ve become quite fond of the grapefruit soda. Made with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and Elderflower (not the liquor), it is quite a refreshing treat to pair with their delicious lunch options. I could totally see myself sitting poolside sipping on one of these and not miss the alcohol one bit. I know many who have decided to cut out alcohol or cut back in the near future, so I asked The Capital Grille for the recipe, so I could share it with everyone. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
Grapefruit Juice 2 oz
Elderflower 2 Tbsp
Soda Water 4 oz
Lime Wedge 1 wedge
PREPERATION:
1. Build in Specialty Highball Glass, Elderflower, Grapefruit Juice, Soda Water and juice from a lime wedge.
2. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and mint leaf
SERVING GLASSWARE: Specialty Hi-Ball Glass
GARNISH:
a) Grapefruit Wedge
b) Mint Leaf

My husband’s hamburger had a bone in it. He broke his tooth in the middle of the movie, was in tremendous pain and had to get a crown. Studio Movie Grill’s corporate office will NOT REIMBURSE him for the cost of the crown (approx $1300). We did not ask for any extra, just the documented cost. The movie manager knows that it happened there. We even have the tooth and bone remnants. This is a TERRIBLE way to treat a paying customer. I will be telling ALL of my friends….will you?
